False Car
A temporary mobile working platform designed for elevator installation, providing safe access throughout the lift shaft to enable efficient elevator installation. Supplied as a complete kit with everything required to get your project underway.
About the False Car
A false car is a temporary working platform that travels up and down the lift shaft during elevator installation, giving installers a safe, stable place to work while guide rails, brackets, landing doors and shaft equipment are fitted. The Elevise false car replaces traditional scaffolding in the shaft, saving time on every floor and keeping the installation moving.
Built from heavy-duty yet lightweight aluminium, the false car is easy to transport, assemble and install in the shaft. With a 400kg safe working load and speed options of 9 m/min or 18 m/min, it suits everything from low-rise lift installations through to high-rise elevator projects.
Each false car is supplied as a complete kit with everything required to get your elevator installation underway, and is available with single-phase or three-phase power to suit your site. Elevise supplies, services and repairs false cars for lift companies right across Australia.
